He was predeceased by: his father John William; and his son John William Greene II. He is survived by: his wife Knoxvillian Kay Henderson Greene; his daughters, Sharon Greene Bitzer (Doug) of Knoxville and Rachel Leah Greene of Irvington; his stepsons, Charles Raymond Henderson III (Terri) and Timothy Frederick Henderson (Lesli); and his siblings, Susan Alma Bennett (John) of Lexington Park, Catherine Virginia Greene of Knoxville, Richard William Greene (Alice), Robert Trifon Greene (Elizabeth), Virginia, Thomas Anthony Greene, Memphis and Senta Victoria Greene (Jonathan).
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (414 W Vine Ave, Knoxville, TN 37902).
Memorial donations may be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association.
