He was predeceased by: his parents, Justus Schaumburg and Ruth Marie Schaumburg; his former wife Ruth Schaumburg; and his stepson Tony Nierman. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Schaumburg; his sons, Tim Schaumburg (Joni) and Ken Schaumburg (Linda); his stepdaughter Karen Bauer (Tim); his grandchildren, Mark Schaumburg (Sadie), Lauren Schaumburg, Kasey Hammock (Max), Abby Schaumburg and Adam Schaumburg; his stepgrandchildren, Kate Hoeppner (Phil), Kyle Borgstadt (Dana), Kari Beck (Adam), Bryan Nierman and Sara Nierman; and his great grandchildren, Layla, Lincoln Schaumburg, Hannah, Henry Hoeppner, Cora, Caroline and Camile Beck.
