He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Covington and Eva Covington; and his brothers, Joseph and James. He is survived by: his wife Ellen; his children, Douglas Fields of Arcadia and Eva Cannon of Lake Ozark; his siblings, Donald Covington (Pat) of Kansas, Dixie Knoche of Holden, Betty Wright of Eldon and Rosemary Snyder; and also Mary Kay of Arcadia.
