He is survived by: his wife Valerie; his children, Stephen David Franke (Elizabeth) of Aurora, Cheryl Lynn Thill (David) of Oswego and Debra Lee Beaty (John) of Burr Ridge; his grandchildren, Daniel, John, Aidan and Carly; his great grandchild Isabel Jaeger; his sister Gail Knoll (Walter) of Afton; and his wife Mary Ann. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and many friends.
