He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Earl Bassett and Bernice Bassett; his spouse Jude Atteberry Bassett; his children, Kim Bechtold, David Bechtold of Osage Beach, Toni Milner and Jim Milner of Collinsville, Illinois; his stepdaughter Mary Kay Quiett of Lake Ozark, Missouri; his grandchildren, Jeremy (Megan Bechtold) and Trevor (Lindsay Bechtold); his stepgrandchildren, Morgan, Lance Fulks, Jessica, Ryan Bridges, Molly, Mike Degan, Kim, Jeremias Fernandez, Danny Quiett, Mary Kate Moore and Adam Murphy; his stepdaughter Ginger Moore; and his stepsons-in-law, Rick Moore and Dan Quiett. He was also cherished by eight great-grandchildren.
