He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Edgar and Mary Briggs (Varner); and his brother Uel Briggs. He is survived by: his wife Alice; his son Kevin Briggs (Cindy Burns) of Calhoun; his granddaughter Michelle Barton; his great grandchildren, Makennah and Weston; and his siblings, Shelby (Marilyn) of LaDue, Glen of Clinton, Clyde (Donna) of Clinton, Jim (Carol) of Deepwater, Wilma McKeaigg of Clinton, Esther Singer of Clinton, Shirley Murphy (Joe) of Joplin, MO and Bonnie Winter of Clinton.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Golden Valley Memorial Hospice and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
