He is survived by: his wife Carol Bick Klein; his grandchildren, William Moll (Caroline), Sarah Spano (Phil Kropoth), Alex Klein and Nathan Klein; his great grandchildren, Jackson and Justin Moll; his grandchildren, Emily (Chris Desloge), Aimee, Karl and Tyler; his great grandchild Charlotte Desloge; his brother Richard; his significant other Baring Private Equity; and also, Robert Hagnauer (Kathy), Karl Hagnauer (Cheri) and Crockett Leslie.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's Episcopal Church, or the Hope Center for Neurological Disorders at Washington University.
