He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Thomas and Beatrice Elmira Bushnell Snyder; his son Marvin Alan Snyder; and his siblings, Jackie Snyder, Marvin Snyder, Thomas Snyder, C. L. Snyder, Melvin Snyder, Kenny Snyder, Lois Gullion and Opal Rinker.

He is survived by: his wife Brenda Lee Grawe; his daughter Christina Meyer (Keith) of Jonesburg; his brothers, Johnny Snyder (Debbie) of Laddonia, Curtis Snyder (Cheryl) of Martinsburg and Gary Snyder (Ina) of Rush Hill; and his grandchildren, Trey and Hailey Meyer of Jonesburg.
