With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alma Lodene Appling of Laddonia, Missouri, born in Polk, Missouri, who passed away on September 10, 2020 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Franklin and Sarah Emory Fellows; her spouse Thomas Burton Appling (Bud); her children, Randall Appling and Schryle Lower; and her siblings, Glenn, Buster, Dude, Jack Fellows, Gertie Fields, Hildreth Fellows and Wilma Mann.
She is survived by: her children, Lowell Appling (Alane) of Moberly and Marty Orr (Terry) of Vandalia; and her grandchildren, Mike McCoy of Mexico, Michelle Brooks of Laddonia, Paul Appling of Columbia, Maria Snyder of St. Charles, Lucas Appling of Moberly, Sadie Brimer of Boonville and Taylor Orr of Madison, MS. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren.
