It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Gene Stephens (Laclede, Missouri), who passed away on October 9, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Roy and Lena Melvina Cox Stephens; his son Bobby Dale Stephens; and his siblings, Marvin Stephens and Josephine Cox.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Joann Clemons; his children, Annajean McCormack (Jim) of Lebanon, Missouri, Jolene Griffin (Rex) of Lebanon, Missouri, Ginger Blue (Joe) of Lebanon, Missouri, Ed Stephens (Tammy) of Lebanon, Missouri, Rob Stephens (Jeanie) of Lebanon, Missouri and Brad Vance (Sharon) of Lebanon, Missouri; and his sister Wanda Reading of Lebanon, Missouri. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
