He was predeceased by: his son Derek Matthew Bowman; his father Gary Darnell; and his brother James Darnell. He is survived by: his wife Wanita Bowman; his children, Trey Thompson, Tanner Munson (Violet Airey), Kenadi Munson (Peyton Moritz), Kayden McCarter (Dom Noble) and James Sutton (Peyton Ireland); his grandchild Rory Mae Lynn Moritz; his siblings, Kim Glidewell (Gary Oberfell), Monnie Delana (Jessica), Clarissa Darnell and Raymond Delana (Jessica); his mother Janet Wade; his stepfather Jim; and also Bo. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Laclede City Park.

Memorial donations are to the Family in care of Everett (Monnie) Delana and can be left at or mailed to the Rhodes Funeral Home, 216 Linn Street, Brookfield, MO. 64628.
