Betty (Lebanon) J. Showler Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty (Lebanon) J. Showler of Laclede, Missouri, who passed away on July 11, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Marcum and Gladys Jones Marcum; her husband James Wayne Showler; her siblings, David Marcum, Jr., Dwain Marcum, Vivian Dinsmore and Violet Stagg; and her sisters-in-law, Cora Marcum and Betty Marcum.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Stubblefield (Kevin) of Lebanon, Sandra Geissler (George) of Glendale, Arizona and Jim Showler (Bonnie) of Lebanon, Missouri; her grandchildren, Christine McElhaney, Erica Ward, Derek Showler, Andrew Stubblefield, Trevor Stubblefield, Lisa Lindesmith and Michelle Golden; and her great grandchildren, Carlee McElhaney, Casen McElhaney, Bekette Ward, Everest Dalton Quartz and Olivia Lindesmith. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial to the Hillcrest Baptist Church has been established and contributions may be made through the funeral home.
