He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Skiljan and Mattie; and his sister Carolyn Skiljan. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Skiljan of Labadie; his children, R. James Skiljan (Dawn Marie) of Labadie, Anne Edmonds (Steve) of Maryland Heights, Joe Skiljan (Molly) of Maryland Heights and Margaret Wolff (Mike) of Labadie; his brothers, Bob Skiljan (Marlene) of Savannah, GA and Ronald Skiljan (Joyce) of St. Louis; and his grandchildren, Madison, Evelynn, Zachary, Haley, Saorise, Rudolph, Lucinda, Alexander, Andrew, Aaron, Aiden and Johanna.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Home (1206 Jefferson St, Washington, MO 63090). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. John's Gildehaus Church (5579 Gildehaus Rd, Villa Ridge, MO 63089).
Memorial donations can be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or St. Mary's High School.
