He is survived by: his wife Ruth Luechtefeld of Labadie; his children, Donna Jackson (Daniel) of Warrenton, Deborah Schaefferkoetter (Bob) of Washington, Richard Luechtefeld (Dana) of Huntsville, AL and Diane Eggemeyer (Steve Cox) of St. Clair; his siblings, Theodore "Ted" Luechtefeld Jr. (Dorothy "Dottie") of Owensville, Mary "Joyce" Stewart (Don) of Gerald and Delores "Janie" Glosemeyer (Maurice) of Peers; his grandchildren, Amanda Collins, Cody Schaefferkoetter, Nicholas Jackson, Kayla Alexander, Michael Eggemeyer, Adam Luechtefeld and Grace Luechtefeld; and his great grandchildren, Bailey, Monica, Claire, Abby, Ellie, Avery, Jace and Hudson.
Memorial donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association, St. John's Gildehaus Church, or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
