He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Gwin and Safronie Belle Gwin (Weiher); his wife Mary Margaret Newman; his grandson Hayden Gwin; and his stepchildren, John Linder and Linda Lewsader.
He is survived by: his sons, Tim Gwin of Hoberg, Kevin Gwin of La Russell, Scott Gwin of La Russell and Brian Gwin (Dawn) of Miller; his stepdaughters, Shirley Fleetwood of Joplin, Shari Copenhaver of Mt. Vernon and Barbara Tharp of Springfield, Missouri; and his siblings, Richard Gwin (Sharon) of Hollister, Missouri, Mildred Hobson of Columbia and Mary Ellen Woodard of Salem, Oregon. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made payable the Miller Memorial Cemetery, in care of the funeral home.
