It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Virginia Louise Biggs (La Plata, Missouri), who passed away on January 16, 2025, at the age of 104, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lon Daniels and Artie May Daniels (Bailey); her husband Harold M. Biggs; her children, Farol, Larry, Gary and Bobby Lee Biggs; and her siblings, Fern Darr and Eugene Daniels.
She is survived by: her daughter Carol Pemberton (Richard); and her daughters-in-law, Margaret Biggs and Lodena Biggs. She is also survived by six grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Travis Funeral Chapel (125 S Church St, La Plata, MO 63549). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials in memory of Virginia may be made to the La Plata Cemetery or to Big Bend Retreat.
