She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilsey Grear and Hazel Grear (Mercer); her husband Edwin Merl Matticks; her brothers, Ronald B. (Jeanine Grear) and Wilsey Gene Grear; and her nephews, Wilsey G. Grear, Jr. and Michael B. Grear.
She is survived by: her children, Neal Matticks of New York, NY, Gwen Gash of Dallas, TX and Jay; her daughter-in-law Toni Matticks of Kirksville, MO; her grandchildren, Shandra Montalvo (Joe) of Mansfield, TX, Cara Soliday of Frisco, TX and Chase Matticks of St. Louis, MO; her great grandchildren, Ethan of Texas, Ryan Montalvo of Texas and Sydney Soliday of Texas; and her sister-in-law Lenora Grear of Iowa. She is also survived by 4 nieces.
Shirley Ann Matticks, age 90, lifelong La Plata, Missouri, resident, died Sunday, August 25, 2019, at Loch Haven, Macon, Missouri, from complications of Alzheimer's Disease.
