With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Lee Johnson of La Plata, Missouri, who passed away on December 2, 2024 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert Lee Johnson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Johnson and Verna Johnson (Ellis); his wife Virginia Gray; and his daughter Nancy Jo. He is survived by: his children, Cheri Green (Mitchell) of Raymore, Michael Johnson (Deepa) of Overland Park, Linda DeBolt of Orlando and Penelope Smith (Clay) of Raymore, Missouri; and also Beverly Billings (Brackney). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
A masonic service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Travis Funeral Chapel (125 S Church St, La Plata, MO 63549). Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Floral Hills Cemetery.
Memorials in memory of Robert may be made to La Plata Community Presbyterian Church.
