He was predeceased by: his parents, Herb A. Cox and Etta Louise Cox (Hayes); his spouse Shirley L. Hickman; and his siblings, Sharon Ludens and Dennis Cox.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert A. Cox (Amy) of La Plata and Danny L. Cox (Ashley) of North Carolina; and his grandchildren, Karri Cox, Kameron Goldsmith and Lia Cox.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Heckart Funeral Home (903 S Ohio Ave, Sedalia, MO 65301). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
