Phipps (Nelson); his siblings, Carl Lester Phipps, Elsie Potucek, Lyda Jennings, Mary Davies and Marthella Cupp; his parents-in-law, Junior and Norma Waddle; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Waddle, Jerry Waddle, Bruce Waddle, Richard Potucek, Stanley Jennings, George Davies, Steve Hurst and Janet Nihiser.
He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Phipps of Kirksville, Tonya Eimer (John) of Cedar Hill, Cindy Bond (Michael) of La Plata, Missouri and Dr. Alan Phipps of Charleston; his grandchildren, Irieal, Sara, Augie, Grace Eimer, Matthew, Lucy and Emory Lindsey; his friend Noelle Livingston; his siblings-in-law, Glenda Phipps of Ft. Worth, Kathy Hurst, Susie Waddle, Jeff Waddle (Marilyn) and Mike Waddle (Laurie); and his pet Charlie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Raymond may be made to the La Plata Volunteer Fire Department.
