He is survived by: his children, Kevin Carter of La Plata, Missouri, Ray Carter of Overland Park, Kansas, John Carman (Kathy) of Adel, Iowa, Bill Carman (Mary) of Oskaloosa, Iowa, David Carman of Montana, Sheryl Ferguson (Robin) of La Plata, Missouri and Donna Watson (Chip) of West Branch, Iowa; his sister Linda Sandelin; his grandchildren, Britney, Shaylee, Layla, Gabe, Matt, Brad and Karen; and his great grandchildren, Ellie, Paige, Sarah, Grace, Asher and Jaxon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
