He was predeceased by: his father Frank Melvin Smith; and his son Kevin Smith. He is survived by: his mother Norma Jean Smith-Kabler (Wilcox); his wife Kathy Gregory; his stepfather Roy Kabler; his daughter Melissa Viebrock (Smith) of Versailles, MO; his grandchildren, Kaylee, Alexis, Madison, Keirsten, Kyndel and Kyla; his sister Vicky Riley (Tim); his nephew Joshua Riley; his niece Lindsay Ream (Mark); and also Jayce of Sedalia. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
