He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Solter and Catherine Solter; his sister Kaye (Jerry Carpenter); and his siblings-in-law, Marion Solter, Ron Job, Duane Job and Kay Campbell (Angela Solter Hagerbaumer).
He is survived by: his wife Jan; his children, Janeen Fellinger (Mick), John Paul Solter and Joann Fields (John); his grandchildren, D. J. Ellison (Emily), Diann Brumbaugh (Leslie), Aaron Ellison, Jessica Ayers (Brad), Josh Fellinger (Chelsea), Justin Fellinger, Amanda Solter, Nathan, Jacob Solter, Katie, Sean Fields, Emily Fields and Erica Fields; his great grandchildren, Boone Ellison, Sylvia Ellison, Braylin Ayers, Paycen Ayers, Vinsen Ayers and Blakley Jo Fellinger; his sisters, Alice Lee Solter, Maxine Wolfmeyer (Larry) and Patty Logsdon (Jerry); his siblings-in-law, Carmelita Job, Marilyn Job, Jim Campbell and Richard Campbell; his caregivers, Practitioner Connie and Toni; and his daughter Jerilyn Ellison (John Ellison). He is also survived by many aunts. uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family suggest memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Hospice of Northeast Missouri.
