He was predeceased by: his parents, W. G. Brandt (Pete) and Martha E. West Brandt; his sisters, Shirley Stephens (Brandt) and Penny Brandt; his son Gerald T. Brandt; and his granddaughter Rebecca S. Brandt.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Brandt of La Grange; his children, Scott K. Brandt of La Grange, Todd Brandt of St. Louis and Tami L. Brandt of La Grange; his granddaughter Samantha M. Bradney (Brandt) of Palmyra; his great grandchild Brianne M. Bradney of Palmyra; his sister Mickalyn Crawford (Brandt) of La Grange; and his brother-in-law Richard Stephens of Kinderhook, IL. He is also survived by five cousins and many nieces and nephews.
