He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Edward and Julia Annie Rowe Maples; his spouse Elizabeth A. Wolfmeyer; his siblings, Glen Maples and Louise Feldkamp; and his sons-in-law, Ronald F. Meyer and Lary Bronestine.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pamela Ann Hiland (Ray) of Quincy and Deborah Kay Meyer of La Grange; his grandchildren, Bradley Bronestine, Kimberly Morley (Alan), Kevin Meyer (Lezlie), Lonnie Meyer (Laura), Lori Green (Doug), Stacey Meyer (Susie) and Bethany Head (Tom); and his brother Richard Maples (Wilma) of Canton. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren, one step great grandchild; 6 great great grandchildren, three step great great grandchildren.
