He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Cottrell and Lorena Rose Hoskins Cottrell. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" of La Grange; his children, Kevin Cottrell (LaVonne) of Ewing, MO, Tammy Neil (Brad) of Palmyra, MO and Pamela Shubert (Randy) of Camdenton, MO; his brother Roger Cottrell (Nancy) of La Grange, MO; his grandchildren, Nathan Bennett (Joni) of Kirksville, MO, Caleb Shubert of Edina, MO, Matt Bennett (Ashlynn) of Ewing, MO, Brady Neil of Palmyra, MO, Braxden Neil of Palmyra, MO, Brayden Neil of Palmyra, MO, Jessica Lasater of Wentzville, MO, Cassandra Cottrell of Austin, TX and Teddie Neil (Tyler Mays) of Palmyra, MO; and his great grandchildren, Chase Lasater of Wentzville and Tristan Bennett of Kirksville, MO. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Because of COVID-19, private family services will be held with burial in Mark's Cemetery in La Grange, MO.
The family suggests memorials be made to the La Grange Christian Church or to the La Grange Volunteer Fire Dept. in care of Davis Funeral Home, P.O. Box 146, La Grange, MO 63448.
