He was predeceased by: his parents, Steven Peter and Margaret Lee Pulse Zahn; his siblings, John William, Richard Lynn Zahn, Marsha Hemme and Mary Jacobs; his brother-in-law Dale Jacobs; his niece Katrina Jacobs Hollis; and his nephew Heath Zahn.
He is survived by: his former wife Sharon Wallace; his wife Linda McReynolds; his children, Tammy Pfeiferling (Troy) of Woodlands, TX, Tracy Elder of Keokuk, IA, Kathy Edwards (Larry) of Knox City, MO, Kim Givens (Larry) of Dickson, TN, Mitch Zahn of Kingston Springs, TN, Melissa Manning of Palmyra, MO and Jim Skinner of Buffalo, IA; and his brother Donald Zahn (Cathy) of LaGrange, MO. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
