He was predeceased by: his parents, Granvel Hice and Nedra Hice (Jewell); and his siblings, Rubien, Ralph, Melvin, William, Grace Hice and Marie Harrison.
He is survived by: his wife Toni; his children, G. L. Hice and Samantha Burd (Michael); his grandchildren, Hailey Johnson, Brooke, Logan Hice, Nadia and Diana Burd; and his siblings, Bob Hice (Denise), Herb Hice (Helen) and Etta Willbanks (Bud). He is also survived by numerous friends and family.
