He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Charles and Jessie Lillian Golden (Gardner); his sister Virgie Lee (William Carl Lasswell); his aunt Bernice Golden; and his uncle Paul Golden (Inez).

He is survived by: his wife Grace Golden (Harvey); and his brother Mark Golden (Rhea) of Kirksville. He is also survived by his parents and grandparents.
