It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas Hughes of Knob Noster, Missouri, who passed away on February 8, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Lee Hughes and Erma Kathleen Hughes (Duffer); and his stepfather Roy Epple. He is survived by: his wife Jane Hughes (Carr); his sons, Brad Hughes (Lauren) of Belton, MO and Brian Hughes of Lee's Summit, MO; his brother Bill Hughes (Rita) of Knob Noster, MO; his grandchildren, Will Hughes and Lucy Hughes; his nieces, Kristi Carr, Katie Warner (Alex) and Salena Corbett (Clint); his nephew Cliff Everts; and his pet Bella. He is also survived by several great nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home (617 N Maguire St, Warrensburg, MO 64093). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Knob Noster Cemetery (1122 NE 75, Knob Noster, MO 65336).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Knob Noster Youth Sports Association.
