It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Miles (Knob Noster, Missouri), born in Worthing, South Dakota, who passed away on March 2, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Bernard Miles; her parents, John Detmer and Bertha Detmer; her siblings, Frances Powers and Gerald Detmer; and her niece Linda Nichols.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Tingley (David) of Portland, OR, Michael Miles (Theresa) of Timnath, CO and Nancy Miles Burden (Bryon) of Warrensburg, MO.; her grandchildren, Robert Tingley, Christina Tingley (Sarah), Haley Miles, Kelly Miles, Joshua Ellis (Jarryssa) and Stephen Klee; her stepgrandsons, Alex Fenske, Matthew Fenske, Jason Burden (Kayla) and Austin Burden (Trish); her great grandchildren, Austin Lisle, Gavin Ellis, Laurali Hubbard, Aubree Lynn Burden, Hennessey Burden and Kelton Paul; and her sister Dorothy Dietterle of Sun City, AZ. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and a host of life-long friends.
