He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleo Eugene and Melva Lorraine Vest (Jackson); and his nephew Kevin Vest. He is survived by: his wife Linda of Knob Noster; his children, Russ Vest (Maryann) of Kansas, Rob Vest (Shelly) of Grinnell, Melissa Vest (Jeromy) of Stuart, Robert Terry of Arizona, Jeff Terry (Anna) of Warrensburg and Jeremy "Jay" Terry (Melissa) of Leeton; and his brother Harold Vest (Darline) of Coleman, Texas. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Veterans Assistance League for the Recreation Fund and can be left in care of the funeral home.
