He was predeceased by: his parents, Gregorio Palomo and Isabel Palomo (San Nicolas); his wife Catalina Naputi Palomo; his son Herman Joseph Palomo; his children-in-law, Rudy Barajas, Anthony Hamptonie and Patricia Arlee; his daughter Arlene J. Palomo (Prince); his grandchildren, Kimberly, Stephanie Ewing and Rudolf Barajas Jr.; and his siblings, Acha Garcia, Maria Quitaro, Antonia Guerrero, Jesus Palomo, Soledad Redoblado, Isabel Mendiola Sablan, Rosa Fernandez and John T Palomo.
He is survived by: his children, Doris Anderson (Gary Powell), Dorothy Barajas, Robert B. Palomo (Wendy), June F. Reynolds (Stephen), John L. Palomo (Jamie), Albert R. Palomo (Kimberly), Franklin E. Palomo, Janet L. Burch (Jerry) and Cindy A. Palomo (Meredith); his daughter-in-law Sigrid Palomo; and his grandchildren, Amy Hall (Ewing), Alicia Cipiti (Ewing), Adam Ewing, Joseph Palomo, Josephine Winder (Palomo), Herman J. Palomo Jr., Rachel Palomo, Troy Palomo, Rudy Barajas Jr., Catalina Barajas, Sophie Horne, Xavier Barajas, Jece Barajas, Jose T. Palomo II, Jessica Palomo, Sean Palomo, Bobby Palomo, Arlene Palomo, Victoria Bush, Joseph Anderson, Brittni Myers, Justin Reynolds, John-John Palomo, Taylor Palomo, Alex Palomo, Gregorio Burch, Garnet Burch, Cisaria Burch, Naomi Palomo and Nathan Nelson.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home (617 N Maguire St, Warrensburg, MO 64093). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Warrensburg Elks Lodge (822 E Young Ave, Warrensburg, MO 64093).
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude's Children's Research, Honor Flight or Johnson County Cancer Foundation.
