He was predeceased by: his parents, John McKeehan and Josephine McKeehan; his daughter Lynn McKeehan; and his brothers, Bob and Fred McKeehan.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Jamie McKeehan, Lori Sassen and Leigh Ann McKeehan; his stepsons, Todd Toman of Texas and Asa Bowling (Sasha) of Knob Noster; and his brother Howard McKeehan (Vernell). He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
