He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowell Swearngin and Faye Swearngin (Reed); his brother Carl Swearngin; and his nephew Shawn Swearngin. He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Michael Swearngin of Scottsdale, AZ, Kellie Daniels (Tim) of San Antonio, TX, Philip Swearngin (Melissa) of Pagosa Springs, CO and Lindsey Nix (David) of San Antonio, TX; his grandchildren, Kayla Daniels and Jackson Swearngin; and his sister Doris Adams of Shawnee Mission, KS. He is also survived by extended family and many close friends.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Missouri Veterans Home in Warrensburg, Crossroads Hospice, or the First Christian Church of Knob Noster and can be left in care of the funeral home.
