He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlon Ward and Norma Ward (Scotton); his siblings, Sheryl Cochran, Rod Ward and Mary Diephuis; and his granddaughter Abby Gale Dixon.
He is survived by: his pet Freddy; his wife Kathryn Jean Ward; his children, Lorna Williams (Michael) of Kimberling City, Missouri, Lorine Ward of Kissee Mills, Missouri, Audie Ward of Kissee Mills, Missouri and Letha Dixon (Jermy) of Omaha, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Riley McLemore, Mickey Burkeen (Dakota), Dekoda Workman (Kaitlin), Dalton Workman, Audrey Ward, Corbin Williams, Chandler Beals, Ely Ward, A. J. Ward, Karla Ward and Anna Dixon; and his siblings, Fran Scholl of Houston, Texas, Peggy Ferneti of Houston, Texas and D. J. Ward of Birmingham. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
