He was predeceased by: his parents, Obie Hurst and Elizabeth Hurst (Persinger); his siblings, Verna Trice, Kenneth Hurst and Irene Siders; and his grandson Jeremy Hurst.
He is survived by: his wife Imogene Hurst; and his children, Janet Hutchinson of Taneyville, MO., Dennis Hurst (Deborah) of Kissee Mills, MO., Steven Hurst (Judy) of Kissee Mills, MO. and Rickey Hurst (Mary) of Kissee Mills, MO.. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren; and 11 great-great grandchildren.
