It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma Jean Foster (Kirkwood, Missouri), who passed away on February 28, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husbands, Harley P. Collins and Forrest "Bud" Foster; her parents, August Renne and Erma Renne; and her siblings, Ruth, Agnes Renne, Jo Ann Biere and Alfred.
She is survived by: her brother-in-law Fred Biere (Carolyn); her nephew Bryant Biere (Nadine); her niece Julia Hoffman (Kurt); her son-in-law William Thomas, Jr. (Kathy); and her grandchildren, William Thomas III (Leslie), Forrest Todd Thomas (Meg), Marc Thomas (Kelley), John Thomas (Carla), Foster Furler, Walter Furler III, Mary McGlade (Ken), Brianna Miers (Silas) and Amanda Nevarez (Landry). She is also survived by loving grandchildren and faithful friends.
