Kennie J. Elkins Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kennie J. Elkins (Kirkwood, Missouri), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 11, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Kennie departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Kennie. Though Kennie may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Rose Elkins; his children, Jim Elkins (Lynn) and Diana Walsh (Pat); his grandchildren, Sarah Berthold (Olen), Shannon Elkins, Jimmy Walsh (Emily) and Kristi Walsh (Drew Higgins); and his great grandchildren, Lainey and Callie Walsh.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bopp Chapel (10610 Manchester Rd, Kirkwood, MO 63122). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
