She was predeceased by: her parents, Hilda Elpers and Werner Elpers; her husband Gilbert Lee Simpson; and her sons-in-law, Tom and Gregg.
She is survived by: her daughters, Suzanne Braun of Saint Louis, Missouri, Laura Higginbotham (Robert) of Arlington, Texas, Andrea Lohman (James) of Saint Louis, Missouri and Michelle Erickson (Randy) of Saint Louis, Missouri; her grandchildren, Kendra (Daniel), Bert (Callie), Kayla (Isaac), Tessa, Joshua, Rory and Heath; her great grandchildren, Blake, Chase, Payton, Sadie, Harper, Lily and Lewis; and her brother Jerry Elpers (Sandra) of Crystal Lake, Illinois..
A committal service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Saint Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery (12345 Manchester Rd, Des Peres, MO 63131). Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Concordia Lutheran Church (505 S Kirkwood Rd, St. Louis, MO 63122).
