He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Golden and Mary Golden; and his wife Margaret Anne Mestres. He is survived by: his brothers, Joseph Mestres and Leon; his children, Mary Margaret, Ann Marie, James Gregory, Christopher Joseph and Michael Hugh; his grandchildren, Alison, Tim, Lindsey, Katie and Nick; and his great grandchildren, Chance, Lily and Jack. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bopp Chapel (10610 Manchester Rd, Kirkwood, MO 63122). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church (2005 Dougherty Ferry Rd, Kirkwood, MO 63122).
