He is survived by: his wife Antoinette "Ann" Clayton; his children, Terri Clayton Coker (Gregg Richmond) and Char McQuillan (Dan); his grandchildren, Benjamin Clayton Coker (Jackie), Taylor Richmond Coker (Andrea), Cullen Davis Coker (Mary Houston), Denton McCaskill Coker, Brendan McQuillan (Kari Tornes), Bridget Bredeson (Nick), Mary Helen McQuillan (Cole Pensanti), Eileen McQuillan and Maura McQuillan; his great grandchild Cullen Davis Coker, Jr.; and his siblings, Sarah Cook (Fred) and Steven Clayton (Barb).

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, St. Gerard Majella Conference or Ursuline Academy.
