With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Catherine Elizabeth Hewett (Kirkwood, Missouri), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 3, 2025 at the age of 94. Though Catherine Elizabeth may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Catherine Elizabeth touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her siblings, Rev. Kevin B. Sullivan and Lori Killian; her daughters, Patricia, Pamela (Jen Brown) and Annie; and her grandson Alder Hewett Brown.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the St. Agnes Home (10341 Manchester Rd, Kirkwood, MO 63122).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation be made to St. Jude Children's Reaearch Hospital in her memory.
