She was predeceased by: her son David Koon; and her parents, John A. Wilmot (Emily Walton Wilmot) and Muskingum University. She is survived by: her spouse Rev. W. C. "Dub" Koon; her son Brian; her brother John Wilmot (Carole); and her granddaughter Emily. She is also survived by children, church activities, being a mother and grandmother.
