He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Kenneth and Hazel Imogene Sutherland (Stephens); his wives, Sara and Betty; and his brother Jimmie Sutherland.
He is survived by: his daughters, Diana L. Malone (Jason) of Cortez, CO and Sunshine R. Williams (Bryan) of Maryville, MO; his stepchildren, Amber Lash of Kirksville, Bobbie Bansal (Kabir) of Kirksville, Terry Perryman of Katie, TX and Lyby Graves of Macon, MO; his sister Brenda Ulland of Independence, MO; and his nephew John Woods of Kirksville. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
