She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Smith and Ella Mae Smith (Winston); and her son Kenneth Kiety Smith. She is survived by: her children, Robert Yates Jr. of Kirksville, Kiashia Yates (Kimberley Pine) of Kirksville and Brenda White; her sister Marion Smith of Gary, Indiana; and her grandchildren, Amy, Rayna, Kendra, Kenya, Kena, Kylia, Harold, Mary, Savannah, Robert, Kylie, Dylan, James, Patricia, Samantha and Alexa. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
