She was predeceased by: her parents, Alonzo Thompson and Mamie Ola Thompson (Beverlin); her brothers, Charles and Melvin Thompson; her former spouse Lee Mack; and her husband Oren Fortney.
She is survived by: her son Terry; her daughter-in-law Lillie Mack of Kirksville, MO; her daughters, Carolyn (Roy Turner) and Cathy (Dennis Turner); her grandchildren, Christina Turner, Stephanie Dager (Andy), Michael Turner, Lindsey Stamp (Chase), Brandon Mack (Sarah), Brian Mack (Bridget), Josh Turner (Amy), Lauren Carrillo (David) and Mary Norton; her stepchildren, Melvin Fortney (Janie) and Linda Gifford; and her stepgrandchildren, Ross Fortney, Stephanie Kingdom (Kevin), Carrie Mahon (Nick), Rachel Gifford and Erin Gifford. She is also survived by nine step great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home (1008 W Potter Ave, Kirksville, MO 63501). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations in memory of Mildred may be made to Hospice of Northeast Missouri and may be left at or mailed to Travis-Noe Funeral Home, P.O. Box 306, Kirksville, MO 63501.
