It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Sue (Shaver) Lene of Kirksville, Missouri, who passed away on January 18, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Eugene and Doris Jean Shaver (Bunch); her brothers, Stanley "Bub" Shaver and Paul "Joe" Shaver; her nephews, Cory, Troy, David, Rodney and Stephen; and her siblings-in-law, Lyle Talbert and Crystal Shaver.

She is survived by: her son Jason; her daughter-in-law Shona Lene of LaPlata, MO; her daughter Tamra; her son-in-law Steve Valentine of Kirksville, MO; her siblings, Roger Shaver (Nancy) of LaPlata, MO, Randy Shaver (Jeanne) of Brashear, MO, Carol Talbert of Novinger, MO and Brenda Schilling (Jay) of Kirksville, MO; her grandchildren, Heather Holdren (Mitch), Zane Valentine (Bailey), Jaystin Lene and Jenna Lene; and her great grandchildren, Hadley and McKenna Holdren.
