She was predeceased by: her husband Francis Royer Mitchell; and her siblings, Dorothy Etheridge, Betty Whitmire, Emmet Leon Whitmire and John Dean Whitmire.

She is survived by: her brother Gerald Whitmire (Mary Lou) of Shelbyville; her children, Ruth Ann Casias of Middleburg, Victor Dale Mitchell of Joplin and Betty Leah Craig of Reddick; and her grandchildren, Ryan Nicholas Keller, Jennifer Catherine Casias and Kyle Francis Casias.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kirksville R-3 School, for lunch balances.
