It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Lou (West) McVay of Kirksville, Missouri, who passed away on January 28, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen West and Alice West (Chrisman); her siblings, Daniel West, Donald West, Leon West, Christopher West and Glenda Flynn (West); her nieces and nephews, Kevin Wood, Nathan Dunlap, Devin West, Jennifer Miller (West) and Melinda West; her sister-in-law Diane West; her great-niece Dakota McClelland; and her granddaughter Breanne Blake.
She is survived by: her children, William "Billy" McVay (Michelle), Melanie Varona (Eugene Hatfield), Michael McVay (Sara) and Matthew McVay Breedlove; her grandchildren, Dawn McVay, Jessica Penick (Austin), Shelton McVay, Sonny Hatfield, Tori Hatfield, Matthew Hatfield, Alex McVay, Andrew McVay, Emberly Breedlove, Meradith Heimer, Emma Heimer and Kale Heimer; her siblings, Ed West, Noah West, Leland West (Tamara), Carolyn Bragg (Jim), Linda Alertsen (Wesley), Sandra Capps (Marvin), Joan Stichter (Gary), Joyce Mason (Mikel), Doris VonSoosten (Curtis) and Sheila West; and her brother-in-law Marvin Flynn. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
